Steakhouse's Onion, Mushrooms and Pepper

I love serving the steakhouse-style grilled onion, mushrooms and pepper side whenever we have steak for supper. The dish is so flavorful and easy to prepare.

Steakhouse-style onion, mushrooms and pepper
Ingredients
1 large onion, sliced
1 red bell pepper, julienned
8 oz white button mushrooms, sliced
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce (Lea & Perins)
1 tsp black pepper
1 tsp salt

Directions
Step 1: In a large saucepan, heat olive oil over medium heat. When oil starts to smoke, add in mushrooms. Sprinkle with 1/2 tsp salt to draw out moisture. Continue to cook till mushroom is golden brown in color.
Step 2: Add in onion and cook till caramelized. Next, add in bell pepper, salt, black pepper and worchestershire sauce. Saute till bell pepper is soft. Serve as a side with steak and mashed potatoes.
